Roscoe Village’s very own David Shelist, owner of the hip boutique The Denim Lounge, is featured in the current issue of The Chicago Collection magazine.  In the article, Shelist says it was easy to pick Roscoe Village as a location for his store:

It’s a Village within a city… All the shop owners know each other and there’s this pride of being business owners. We don’t like to see each other fail.

The Denim Lounge is located at 2004 W. Roscoe St.

Did you know that Retro on Roscoe is less than two months away? Retro is one of the best street festivals in Chicago this summer, and you can join in on the fun. RVN has put out a call for volunteers – sign up now! Volunteers get a free t-shirt and get to attend a special pizza party before the event. Not to mention helping out our community and meeting so many of our great neighbors.
